Spring Classes

April





~ Embroidery Class ~

Saturday May 17th 10:00am - 12:00pm   $25

Learn new stitches and embroider a picture.


~ Needle Felting Pictures ~

Saturday May 31th   11:00am - 1:00pm   $25

Learn techniques to create a work of art worthy of framing with Susan Lake, fiber artist and teacher.
Make a 9 X 9 picture with felt. Bring materials from home or buy kits that will be available. This class
is for all levels.






~ All level Needle Felting Class ~

Saturday June 7th 11:00am - 1:00pm   $27 basic - includes kit. Beyond basics - $25

This class is for basic needle felting and those wanting to learn beyond basics.



~ Children (ages 7-12) & Adult Knitting ~

This class is in the works. Call if interested. Private lessons also available.  


Sign Up at Gossamer ~ 2418 E. Burnside St.

Class size will be 4 to 10 students. Some classes max will be 8. Class will be cancelled if less than 4. 50% payment due during sign up and paid in full by first class.

There is a free parking lot east of Los Baez Restaurant.



About Our Teachers

Cait Smith ~ was the owner of the beloved "Mabel's" cafe and knitting store on SE Division Street (She now owns Tandem Coffee Shop at the same location). She loves teaching and we are blessed to have her talent and skill at Gossamer.

Rose Sabel-Dodge ~ is the owner of Gossamer. She worked 9 1/2 Years running the "Spring Creek Store" (The Portland Waldorf School Store). She is a fiber artist with a background in weaving, knitting, sewing, creating, etc . . .

Susan Lake ~ is a talented fiber artist. She graduated form an obscure art school in Boston many years ago, and has been busy creating ever since. Her business name is The Tattered Faerie.

Dayle Halverson ~ comes to us with Waldorf training. She works part-time at Cedarwood Waldorf School and teaches craft workshops in her home as well.

Celeste Guodace ~ is a long time fiber artist and costumer, and we are happy to have her skills at Gossamer.
